Another Year, Another Layer - June 2026

June always feels different to me. It is the month I add another year, the month Father's Day arrives, and the unofficial start of summer, a season that always feels full of possibility for everyone around me.

This year, June also marks something quieter. I am getting close to a full year of building MyLittleFe, and like anyone who has been on a long road, I find myself pausing to look back at how far I have come and honestly, how far I still want to go.

But I have learned that momentum is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like finishing a video. Writing something true. Showing up again.

So here I am. Showing up again. And glad you are here too.

📖 A FATHER'S DAY REFLECTION

Father's Day is June 15th, and this year I found myself going back to the small memories. Jackie Chan movies in the Philippines. A homemade Scrabble board built from particle board. Brownouts that turned into family card nights around a kerosene lantern.

I wrote about my dad, Gody, and about the things we inherit from our fathers without even realizing it. Some obvious. Some that sneak up on you years later.

Whether you are celebrating, remembering, or somewhere in between, I hope it brings you a quiet moment.

🙋🏽♀️ WHERE TO FIND FE NEXT

Summer is bringing some in-person events and I would love to see some familiar faces. Come find me.

🌿 WHAT'S BLOOMING

I have been quietly working on a few things behind the scenes, including a possible opportunity to bring my work into a local space that I am genuinely excited about. It is still early, but when it is ready I will share it here first.

In the meantime, everything in the shop is still made the same way it has always been. Original designs. Made with intention. For everyday moments that deserve something beautiful.

🎨 ART TIP 4: THE ELECTRIC ERASER

This month's art tip is one I genuinely wish someone had shown me earlier.

The electric eraser is not just for fixing mistakes. It becomes a drawing tool, one that pulls light out of dark paper and creates effects that feel almost impossible to do by a regular eraser.

I filmed a short video showing exactly how I use it in my own work.

Thank you for being here. Truly.

With intention,
